Pre and Post Care
- Pre
- Avoid Active Skincare Products: Discontinue the use of retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, or other exfoliating products at least 3-5 days prior to treatment to reduce skin sensitivity.
- Skip Hair Removal: Avoid waxing, threading, or using depilatory creams on the treatment area for at least one week before your appointment.
- Stay Hydrated: Ensure your skin is well-hydrated and drink plenty of water to optimize treatment results.
- Consult About Medications: Inform your provider if you are using any prescription medications or topical treatments that may affect your skin.
- Post Care
- Skip Active Skincare: Avoid using retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, or exfoliating products for 7-10 days (or during the series) to allow your skin to heal and regenerate.
- Do not pick or peel dead skin. You may or may not peel - which does not determine the efficacy of your peel. If you do peel, trim with facial scissors and moisturize to reduce peeling.
