FAQ's

Will filler make me look weird or puffy?

No, not in the hands of a skillful provider. The media can give filler a bad name, but when it is injected in the correct plane of tissue with respect to natural anatomy and animation, filler will enhance your features and is a powerful tool in sculpting, contouring, and highlighting areas of the face.

How much product do I need and how much will it cost?

A custom consult is needed to determine a treatment plan and approach. During this consultation Fallon will discuss your goals, her recommendations, and provide an in depth assessment with quotes. A general price list can be found under services, but your specific needs and anatomy will require an individualized treatment plan.

I have an upcoming event I’m getting ready for. When should I book a consult/treatment?

Aesthetic treatments take time to achieve an impactful result. Ensuring a natural and transformative result requires treating all facets of aging. Fallon recommends planning for large event such as a wedding, 6 months to 1 year in advance.

What is the difference between Botox and Filler?

Botox is a brand of a neuromodulator- it works on muscle movement and primarily address expression lines such as between the brows. It takes 3 weeks to reach full effect.

Fillers are gel substances, typically made from hyaluronic acid, that are used to volumize and contour the face. Fillers and Botox are often used in combination for a natural result

What is Sculptra? Is it a filler?

Sculptra is not a filler, it is an injectable biostimulator. Biostimulators trigger the body to produce more collagen. Stimulating collagen is important as we begin to lose about 1% every year starting in our 20s. Sculptra treats volume loss and boost skin integrity through collagen modulation.

Is there downtime associated with these treatments?

All injectable services take time to heal and reach peak effect. Bruising and swelling, if present, will subside within one to two weeks. Avoiding alcohol, Ibuprofen, Aspirin, caffeine, fish oil, and other supplements/blood thinners for three days prior to injection can decrease bleeding and bruising.
